Ogo

The Russians beat the Americans in the space race and now they are taking on them in the handheld arena. Ogo, a Blackberry-like handheld device will be offered to VimpelCom customers in Russia. The clamshell device delivers push email, ICQ, and has RSS support. It can read PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, PDFs, and many different image formats. Ogo also has a QWERTY keyboard and a wide, horizontal LCD. It’s Russian, so it costs only $ 80 (approx. Rs. 3500), but every month you will have to give $18 (Rs. 800). One more thing, Ogo has been developed by California-based IXI Mobile.
