After MapmyIndia, here’s another GPS device (PND) from SatNav for the Indian masses. SatNav technologies has unveiled a new personal navigation device (PND) called the SatGuide PND Moov 300. This stylish and bold device sports a 4.3-inch touchscreen. Besides turn by turn directions that any basic GPS device provides, this PND also allows playback of videos. The latest SatGuide maps on this device include city maps with detailed information of the roads and points of interest.
The SatNav PND features voice direction, high resolution maps, 720mAH battery capacity and turn-by-turn navigation. Moreover, it comes updated with the latest version of WinCe 5.0 OS and comes with 512MB RAM and 64MB flash memory.
This device weighs mere 171 grams, sports 17.7mm x 130mm x 77.7mm dimensions and displays videos at a (WQVGA) resolution of 480 x 272 pixels. In addition to this, it incorporates a calculator, audio and video player, picture viewer, speaker and SatGuide Map software 2009.
With 20 channel receivers and SiRFInstantFixII technology, it is claimed to provide faster GPS fix times compared to standard PNDs. The accessories that accompany this PND include in-car charger, device holder and USB cable.
