Dash Navigation has announced to release Dash Express, the first Internet-connected GPS device. With the help of two way communication, the Dash Express will offer and destination information to users.
The new GPS device is equipped with TruTraffic, which will facilitate real time traffic condition on roads. This service tracks approximately 10 times more road segments than any products, claims Dash.
The internet connection enables Dash Express to keep the pre-loaded database updated. Users can also use Yahoo! Local search other such websites. Also with the click of the button, users can find gas station (and sort by price) to the latest concerts, the best restaurants, the closest yoga studios, dog-friendly parks or even nearby apartments for rent.
Moreover AutoUpdate feature enables the Dash Express to be updated without requiring users to connect it to a computer. It automatically and wirelessly updates software, maps, and historical traffic information. While the MyDash organies the dash Express. Users can send any address from the Web or e-mail directly their device within no time. also users can create new search lists and categories trough MyDash website and send them right to the Dash Express.
