A sequel to the previously launched HALE90, the NZXT HALE82 PSU gaming series claims to cram in premium components for unmatched performance, while keeping the noise levels down. Boasting of 80+ Bronze Certification, these PSUs aimed at hardcore gamers are said to operate at high efficiencies.
The 80+ Bronze certification of the HALE82 PSU gaming systems makes them capable of operating at 20 percent, 50 percent and 100 percent loads, while clocking in efficiencies of 82 percent, 85 percent and 82 percent, respectively. The lineup employs high quality components and Japanese solid state capacitors to ensure reliability and a longer lifespan.

The two-ball bearing 120mm fan teams up with the modular design for optimum air intake and airflow within the system. The smooth rotations of this fan helps cutting down on the noise to facilitate whisper-quiet operation. Also, its design consists of flat cords and pays special attention to cable management.
And if that’s not all, these systems take safety precautions to render protection for short circuit, temperature, power, current, voltage as well as less voltage. Besides an extended 8-pin output for connections to large and bottom mounted cases, it comes with a dual 8-pin connector in order to allow overclocking through high-end motherboards.
The 650W, 750W and 850W variants of the NZXT HALE82 PSU series price tags read $109.99 (approx. Rs. 5,735), $119.99 (approx. Rs. 6,258) and $139.99(approx. Rs. 7,300), respectively. These systems are now available along with a five-year manufacturer’s warranty.
