Nintendo Wii available for less, new ‘Selects’ Wii games introduced too

Nintendo Wii Here’s some good news for gamers who enjoy spending their precious hours in time-gripping titles featured with exceptionally provoking graphics. Nintendo has tapered off the price point for its new Wii system to $149.99 (approx Rs. 6,679) and revealed a Mario game with the Wii hardware.

Beginning May 15, the gaming machine will prance in either black or white with the engrossing Mario Kart Wii game and a matching colored Wii Wheel accessory. Apart from this, the company will unleash the new Nintendo Selects collection of Wii games, a set of popular games tagged at a price of $19.99 (approx Rs. 895) on May 15.

“From the day it launched, Wii has let players of all ages and experience levels have fun with one another,” commented Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime. “The new suggested retail pricing for both the hardware and select games will help create more of these magical moments for even greater numbers of people.”

Under the above stated collection of stimulating games, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Animal Crossing: City Folk, Mario Super Sluggers and Wii Sports have been comprised. By taking advantage of the recently unleashed Mario Kart with the Wii hardware, gamers can indulge in fun go-kart racing with Mario and the character’s Mushroom Kingdom friends.

Further, the whole package comprising of the Wii Remote Plus controller, Nunchuk controller and Wii Wheel will be made acquirable either black or white. The black Wii Wheel will also be available separately at a suggested retail price of $9.99 (approx Rs. 447).
