Nintendo to release Wii MotionPlus for Sports Resort game

Nintendo Wii MotionPlus Summer season is on the roll and Nintendo is all set to announce the new Wii MotionPlus accessory and Wii Sports Resort game for US consumers.

Wii fans can now take the motion-sensing control to the next level of comfort with the Wii MotionPlus accessory that is expected to reach the US retailers on June 8, 2009. It ensures precision in performance while playing games on the Wii system.

Furthermore, Nintendo promises to display these control enhancements on the Wii Sports Resort game that is slated to launch on July 26, 2009. It is a beach-themed sequel of the groundbreaking Wii Sports game.

It is said that each Wii Sports Resort game is bundled with a single Wii MotionPlus accessory, enabling players to enjoy a whole new set of entertaining and physically immersive activities.

“Wii MotionPlus represents a new evolution in video game control. The variety of fun games in Wii Sports Resort show off its incredible precision,” mentioned Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America’s Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing. “Developers around the world are busy working on new ways to incorporate Wii MotionPlus controls into inventive experiences for consumers.”

Built upon innovative wireless function of the motion-sensing Wii Remote controller, the Wii MotionPlus has the ability to track gamers’ movements in improved detail and accuracy. A slightest twist of the wrist or turn of the body will replicated exactly on the TV screen, thanks to the defined functions of the Wii accessory. Gamers can easily attach the Wii MotionPlus accessory to the Wii Remote controller for further enhanced gameplay.

Wii fans can purchase the Wii MotionPlus accessory for $19.99 (approx. Rs. 995) and the pack of Wii Sports Resort with Wii MotionPlus for $49.99 (approx. Rs. 2,485).
