Yet another speculation that Microsoft will slash down the price of Xbox 360 video game console. Previously, there were rumors that the European markets will experience the price drop. The price cut would be considered for the most popular Xbox 360 model, the 20GB Pro. The gaming industry confirms that it will be reduced by $50, selling for $299 from $349. Microsoft maintains its mum.
According to a major retailer that disagrees to disclose its anonymity, the price change will be taken into account before the major video game trade show – E3 that will begin on 15th to 17 July.
The last price cut was in August, wherein Microsoft dropped the retail cost of Xbox 360 to $349 from $399. Later that year, the company enjoyed the Halo-3 popularity.
