Posdata to offer FLYVO G100 WiMAX handheld Gaming Device in the US soon

Postbro, POSDATA’s subsidiary for mobile WiMAX device, has announced its plan to release WIMAX online game business and devices, called the Flyvo G100 in the U.S. This latest gadget is developed under Flyvo brand name. This news was revealed at CES 2008.

Featuring a 4-inch touchscreen, the G100 will also sport traditional game control, mobile WiMax, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Moreover, it will be compatible with 2.3 GHz and 2.5 GHz WiMax bands.

This sliding gaming device, which was claimed to be the world’s first portable online gaming platform, was introduced last year. The company has now joined KT, the world’s latest mobile WIMAX operator. This agreement would bring online game service to KT Wibro network via G100. This service is expected to be available in the Korean market early this year.

However, the US market will get to grab the Flyvo G100 gaming handheld by end of this year or early 2009.

Currently, the Posbro is working to add an assortment of online game titles, which are optimized for the G100 platform.
