Vivendi Games Mobile has released its latest game for mobile phones. Called The Spiderwick Chronicles, it has been inspired by the forthcoming theatrical launch of the Spiderwick Chronicles by Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies.
Players get to experience the adventure of Jared, Simon, Mallory and the mysterious book. These siblings get the chance to enter into the hidden universe of fairies, goblins, pixies, elves, ogres and other extraordinary creatures that have lived amidst citizens for centuries. However, these creatures are not visible to the human eye.
“We’re excited to bring The Spiderwick Chronicles to mobile phones timed with the movie release and we are sure that fans of the movie and books will be even more thrilled to get their hands on this much anticipated title. Featuring five different characters, players are expected to control each character. The characters have their own special abilities that would help players solve the puzzles and riddles by using the skills.

Currently, the Spiderwick Chronicles is available for download on carriers throughout North America. It is expected to be available in Europe in March 2008.
