Sony Sells 1 Million Units of Slim & Lite PSP

1 Million Units of PSP Slim Sold

Sony Corp., Japan has announced that 1 million units of the new version of PlayStation Portable (PSP) have been sold. The latest Slim & Lite PSP was rolled out in the Japanese market two months back.

Sony says that the new PSP achieved the mark of 1 million units in just two months, which is even quicker than the original model. The original PSP took two more weeks to reach the landmark of 1 million units’ sale.

In addition, Sony plans to sell 10 million units of the Slim & Lite PSP worldwide in the year ending March 2008. While, PSP’s competitor, Nintendo DS aims to sell 28 million units by the same time.
