XFX, a graphics card manufacturer, has announced the release of its new gaming graphics card, dubbed the GeForce 8800 GT Alpha Dog edition.
Featuring a unique thermal fansink design that allows a punch up in its core clock from the industry standard 600 MHz to 625 Mhz, the card delivers up to 8 degree cooler in 3D applications.
The XFX version of GeForce 8800GT comes with a unique build quality and additional technical improvements, including an enhanced fan speed and improved air flow, which makes sure that the card is much cooler as compared to the competitors and at the same time it maintains its sleek, single slot design.
To improve core clock, selected factory over clocked Alpha dog cards are also available in XXX and XT versions. The sleek glossy black finish bundles in an aluminum stress bar to help stabilize the PCB.
Supporting HDTV-, SLI-, HDCP- and RoHS-ready, this latest gaming graphic card offers world-class TV-out functionality and the ability to magnify their performance capabilities. In terms of gaming, GeForce 8800 GT has the ability to give improved scalability on the top PC games and up to 512MB of unbelievable DDR3 power.
The new Alpha Dog edition card sports dual dual-link DVI that ensures the industry’s largest and highest resolution flat panel displays, which is compatible with digital output of up to 2560×1600 on not one – but two displays.
XFX claims that the GeForce 8800 GT Alpha Dog Edition gaming graphic card is faster, cooler and ready to game longer than any of the competitors that are prowling the streets.
