Nyko has unveiled a new wireless controller called the Wii Wireless Nunchuck. Earlier, the accessories maker company had created the Nunchuck with a cord between the controllers. This time, the product works without the cord.
This Wi-Fi Wii Nunchuck comes with 2.4-GHz wireless to communicate with a receiver module that jacks into the Wiimote’s usual Nunchuck port. It seems that the power buttons on both the receiver and Wireless Nunchuck will turn the connection on and off.
There no word on price and availability of the Nyko Wi-Fi Wii Nunchuck. However, the informations will be announced at CES next month.
Nyko has always been the third party accessories manufacturer. However, with this launch, Nyko have gained the first party accessories maker status. In the past, Nyko has provided lot of accessories to Nintendo Wii such as Perfect Shot and Net Connect, Intercooler to keep the console running under optimal conditions.
