Last June, we had visited the Vu Store at Inox in Mumbai. This festive season, which is considered to be a period that bounds to offer a lucrative deal, we planned a trip to the other Vu Store at InOrbit Mall in Mumbai so that we can give users ‘Luxury in Technology’.
The Vu store showcases LCD displays that comprises of ‘The Hollywood Collection’ (the H series) and the C series of LCD TVs.
The Hollywood Collection is not only a stylish and sleek range of LCD TVs, but also possesses piano-black finish and translucent fiberglass with soothing blue LED. All the LCD televisions in this line-up sport A+ Grade Panel, 7th Generation technology, support for PC, Pure Prism Panel, Tru Skin Tone, Game Mode, 60,000 hours of life span, Low Energy Consumption and Movie Mode. These features are also available in the C series of LCD TVs.
In this series, Vu offers Vu 32 (81 cms) LCD TV, Vu 40 (102 cms) Full HD LCD TV and Vu 46 (117 cms) Full HD LCD TV. The Vu 32 features 1,366 x 768 LCD resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, 15,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 500cd/m1 brightness and 6 ms response time. The Vu 40 and Vu 46 provide 1,920 x 1,080 LCD resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, 30,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 500cd/m2 brightness and 5 ms response time as well as 2 USB inputs.
Coming to the C series of LCD TV, the range consists of Vu 22 (56 cms) LCD TV, Vu 26 (66 cms) LCD TV, Vu 42 (107 cms) Full HD LCD TV and Vu 52 (132 cms) Full HD LCD TV. Giving distinctive features of each LCD TV, the Vu 22 delivers 1,680 x 1,050 LCD resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 300cd/m2 brightness and 5 ms response time.
The Vu 42 offers 1,366 x 768 LCD resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 450cd/m2 brightness and 6 ms response time. The common specs of Vu 42 and Vu 52 are 1,920 x 1,080 LCD resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, 30,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and 500cd/m2 brightness. While the Vu 42 delivers 5 ms response times, the Vu 52 gives 6.5 ms response time, 1 USB input and PIP mode.
In addition to these bill-saver LCD TVs, Vu technology displays a digital photo frame, a keychain photo frame, Bluetooth speaker, BoomBox speaker and a set of computer speakers with woofer and amplifier.
The USP of the digital photo frame is that it comes with a built-in printer. It is very easy to print both color and black-and-white images by just the press of a button. Interestingly, the frame-cum-printer also comes equipped with paper and cartridge for convenient printing.
The next showcased product is 2.5-inch keychain photo frame. It has an onboard memory of 25 MB, allowing you to store and view your loved one’s images while traveling.
Coming to a set of audio devices, it comprises of a woofer, amplifier and five speakers to deliver outstanding sound quality. Designed to pair with the home computer, this system promises to offer superior sound performance while watching movies or listening to music on the computers.
Vu also displayed another audio unit, called the 2.1 Vu Sound Bluetooth, ensuring a theater-like experience. It offers 20 watts stereophonic sound quality and the ultra-lightweight Bluetooth wireless to connect mobile phones, MP3 players, iPods, laptops and walkmans amongst other devices.
Last but not least, the Vu BoomBox Speaker is also at the showcase. It is a portable speaker that comes in a shape of a radio. You can carry the speakers as and when you are traveling. Same like Vu Sound Bluetooth, the BoomBox needs to be connected to MP3 players, iPods, mobile phones, laptops and walkmans to enjoy high-end acoustic quality.
So, now you can take a BoomBox with you to an adventurous trip and enjoy outstanding sound performance for partying.
