Within a week from the launch of the new and revamped iPods in the US, Apple has gone ahead and introduced them in India too. In the presence of EY Yeo, Senior Marketing Manager of Apple Asia Pacific, the company launched iPod Nano, iPod Classic, iPod Touch and new colored range of iPod Shuffle in the country.
Apple has given good news for iPod Shuffle fans by introducing, the player in four new colors. Now the Shuffle will also be available in four new exciting colors: blue, green, purple and grey. This will be the first time that the iPod Shuffle will be seen in the Purple color. The new color range of smallest device in iPod family will be available in the market at the price of Rs. 4,500.
Now users can view sharp and clear videos on the 320×240 resolution screen of the iPod Nano third generation. Not only movies but the new Nano will also entertain users with games. The device is preloaded with games such as iQuiz, Vortex and Klondike. What is most amazing about the new Nano is its 6.5 mm thickness. Besides, it will come in four colors blue, green, silver and black. The 4GB third generation iPod Nano will be available at the price of Rs. 8,800 while the 8GB version will cost Rs. 11,400.
The Sixth generation iPod, known as iPod Classic will now be available in India in two capacities 80 GB and 160GB. This huge memory can hold entire collection of music, photos, videos, podcasts and games. Like the Nano, the iPod Classic is also preloaded with iQuiz, Vortex and Klondike games. The 80GB model will be available at the price of Rs. 14,500 while the doubled memory will carry the price tag of Rs. 20,400.
And leaving the best for the last, the new iPod Touch surely must be a dream product of all tech savvies around the country. Apart from entertaining, the Touch allows users to stay connected with the help of Wi-Fi. The iPod Touch incorporates Safari browser that allows internet surfing too. The device is available in two capacities 8GB and 16 GB at the prices of Rs. 17,700 and Rs. 23,600 respectively.
From high-end iPod Touch to the affordable iPod Shuffle, Apple has launched iPods for everybody having different needs and pockets.
