Sony HD series S-Frame digital photo frames disclosed

Sony HD series S-Frame All new Sony HD series S-Frame digital photo frames with full HD video playback recently made their debut. Containing internal memory of 2GB each, these frames come in three sizes and can store innumerable images.

These new models provide AVCHD and MP4 video playback, enabling users to view detailed, realistic video directly on its’ high-resolution LED backlight LCD screen. Through a USB thumb drive or media cards such as SD, SDHC, SDXC Memory Card and Memory Stick PRO duo, images can be loaded onto the frame’s internal memory. All models are capable of supporting JPEG and Alpha’s RAW image file formats.

The frames feature a collection of slideshow options like clock, random, calendar and time machine. The in-built advanced image processor displays content up to 192MP which make these frames capable of handling footage taken from advanced cameras or HD camcorders such as Sony’s Alpha, Bloggie, Cyber-shot and Handycam range of products.

Users can enjoy background music while viewing photos or watching slideshows owing to the frame’s internal memory which can store up to forty songs. These devices support audio formats like mp3, AAC and linear PCM. Furthermore, all models offer auto-resizing which enables downsizing of pictures. Users can store photos within the device and return their memory card back to the camera.

The Sony HD series S-Frame digital photo frames will be available at Sony and other authorized retail stores from this September. They can also be purchased online at sonystyle.com. The three models, DPF-HD1000 (10-inch WSVGA LCD), DPF-HD800 (8-inch WVGA LCD) and DPF-HD700 (7-inch WVGA LCD) are priced at $169.99, $139.99 and $119.99 respectively.
