The tablet market has grown considerably as many manufacturers are rolling feature-rich gizmos to come up with a rival to the popular Apple iPad. Keeping up with the demand, RIM has now announced the launch of two new BlackBerry 4G PlayBook tablets which lend support to LTE and HSPA+ high speed wide area wireless networks.

These tablets flaunt attractive ultra-portable designs with real-time multitasking and symmetrical multiprocessing along with enhanced security features. These devices offer high-fidelity web browsing including support for Adobe Flash and HD multimedia.

“The BlackBerry PlayBook tablet is already being widely recognized for its superior performance, rich web experience, enterprise readiness and deep support for web standards and open development tools. We are now building on the BlackBerry PlayBook’s many advantages with support for additional 4G networks that will allow enhanced business opportunities for carriers and developers and unparalleled mobile experiences for users,” remarked Mike Lazaridis, President and Co-CEO at Research In Motion.

Powered by the BlackBerry tablet OS, the tablets delight owners with open development tools and support for carriers’ high speed 4G networks. The company has released four plans such as BlackBerry PlayBook with Wi-Fi, BlackBerry PlayBook with Wi-Fi + WiMax, BlackBerry PlayBook with Wi-Fi + LTE as well as BlackBerry PlayBook with Wi-Fi + HSPA+. These gizmos also support Bluetooth tethering, mobile hotspots and BlackBerry Bridge.

The latest BlackBerry 4G PlayBook tablets are expected to be up for grabs during the second half of 2011.
