The company has recently announced the upcoming availability of the Pandigital Multimedia Novel 9-inch Android tablet and color e-reader featuring wireless connectivity through AT&T. Sporting a 9” full-color LCD touchscreen, this impressive device allows seamless access to Barnes & Noble’s e-bookstore.

Enhanced viewing visuals are delivered by the e-reader for users to comfortably read e-books. The R90A200 allows owners to surf the Internet through an integrated Web browser, watch movies, listen to music, view images, and play games and videos. Users can access over 100,000 from the Android Market on the tablet and enjoy a complete multimedia experience.

Other characteristics of the device include a 480 x 800p display resolution, 2GB integrated memory, an included SD, SDHC and MMC card reader which can be expanded to 32GB, and a mini-USB port. Voracious readers can highlight notes, variate font sizes and create several bookmarks on the e-reader. Thanks to its orientation sensor, the device can be held through portrait and landscape modes.

Priced at $279.99 (approx Rs. 12,680), the R90A200 Pandigital Multimedia Novel is anticipated to be available this month at several retailers.
