Verizon customers who were feeling petered out by the long delay of Apple’s iPad may put their feet up. Well, Verizon Wireless users can now purchase the highly-awaited Apple iPad from the company’s stores across the nation.
The network provider will offer three interesting bundles, all featuring an iPad Wi-Fi model and a Verizon MiFi 2200 Intelligent Mobile Hotspot, for a price of $629.99 (approx Rs. 28,050) for iPad Wi-Fi 16 GB + MiFi, $729.99 (approx Rs. 32,502) for iPad Wi-Fi 32 GB + MiFi, and $829.99 (approx Rs. 36,955) for iPad Wi-Fi 64 GB + MiFi.
Apart from this, the company is offering a monthly access plan to users who snap up the coveted device with a MiFi starting at 1GB of data for just $20 (approx Rs. 890) monthly access. All these iPad Wi-Fi models will also be offered on a stand-alone basis.
For those unaware, MiFi 2200 is a portable device which lets users browse the web, read and send e-mail, enjoy and share photos, watch high-definition videos, listen to music, and play games, all using iPad’s multi-touch user interface. Users can also indulge themselves in flipping through e-books.
Not only this, the Internet Hotspot enables users to create a personal Wi-Fi cloud capable of sharing the high-speed Internet connectivity of the Verizon 3G Mobile Broadband network with up to five Wi-Fi-enabled devices.
Users can now pick their iPad at any of more than 2,000 Verizon Wireless Communications Stores nationwide.
