Mitsubishi sets in mammoth-sized 3D TVs

Mitsubishi Logo Mitsubishi brings in two noteworthy 3D additions to its lineup of 3D TVs, a 75-inch LaserVue TV (L75-A91) and 3D Starter Pack (3DC-1000), containing all the necessities for watching 3D at home.

The 3D Starter Pack consists of two pairs of active shutter 3D eyewear, 3D emitter, 3D Adapter with remote, and HDMI cable. It also includes Disney 3D showcase Blu-ray disc featuring 3D trailers of ‘A Christmas Carol’, ‘Alice In Wonderland’, ‘Toy Story 3’, and ‘Timon and Pumba.’ The 3D Adapter is available within the 3D Starter Pack which converts side-by-side, top-bottom, and frame-packing 3D signal formats as prescribed by HDMI 1.4a for display on all 3D-ready and 3D DLP Home Cinema TVs.

The LaserVue TV features a Cinema Color mode and StreamTV internet, plus is eco-friendly measuring 50 percent better than Energy Star qualifications. With its 3D-ready capability, the L75-A91 provides a large screen, theater-like experience and immersive 3D viewing. The Mitsubishi 75-inch LaserVue and 3D DLP Home Cinema TVs are offered in some of the largest screen sizes including 60-inch, 65-inch, 73-inch and the huge 82-inch.

We have one of the largest 3D TVs at 82-inches, and now with the addition of our new 75-inch 3D-ready LaserVue TV with Cinema Color, Mitsubishi 3D TV owners can now feel fully immersed in their favorite 3D movies, 3D games and 3D broadcasts at home.”

The fourth generation of 3D displays from the company deliver cinematic color with their consumer-based technology. With more color gamut, increased depth of field, and ultra-crisp imagery, LaserVue TV offers great 3D home entertainment experience. Adorning just a sliver of border around the edges, the TV renders 1080p 5G 12-bit Digital Video processing with a six color processor. Four HDMI ports, USB media input, wired IR input, EdgeEnhance, DeepField Imager, and advanced video calibration are some of its attributes.

The LaserVue TV is now available for $5,999 (approx Rs. 2,78,520). The 3D Starter Pack is anticipated to be available in the beginning of July for $399 (approx Rs. 18,520) and the 3D Adapter is now available for $99 (approx Rs.4,595).
