Barnes & Noble’s highly anticipated Nook may have well compensated for the delayed shipping of the device just in time for Christmas. Now, the company is yet again in limelight. Gizmodo reports that according to a tipster, Barnes & Noble will put forth new products this year which are likely to be the Nook 2 and Wi-Fi only Nook.
Reportedly, B & N plans to out the Wi-Fi-only Nook also known as the Nook Lite by the end of the second quarter of this year. The Nook 2, supposedly called the Project Encore, will then follow.
Not much is revealed about both devices. Apart from this, the company is said to bring in a software update inclusive of a full browser.
Apparently, the Wi-Fi-only Nook is expected to carry a price tag of $199 (approx Rs. 8,887). The Nook v1.4 software update is supposedly coming next week.
