These good looking monitors may stun users with the absence of rigid lines and hard edges, old ideas freshened by gentle contours and lushly curved surfaces. These monitors not only claim to be the centerpiece of users’ desks but also complement the décor of homes.

The GL Series monitors feature a speedy 5ms response time and also claim to possess the highest DCR in the world. The new GL Series features BenQ’s own Senseye Human Vision Technology, a proprietary image enhancement engine that enhances color, clarity and contrast of video contents. It smoothes out quick images through motion optimization to let out detailed images.

The GL Series LED monitors are available in four different models with different connector like GL (D-Sub; DVI-D), GL/A (D-Sub), GL/M (D-Sub, DVI-D, Line-In, Headphone Jack), and GL/AM (D-Sub, Line-In; Headphone Jack). Moreover, the GL/M and GL/AM models feature built-in speakers.

The GL Series also uses energy efficient LED backlighting panels and consumes less power compared to conventional CCFL monitors. These new LED monitors are fully Microsoft Windows 7 certified. On connecting the GL Series monitors to a Windows 7-equipped computer, the operating system instantly recognizes the monitor, enabling effortless setup.

The GL2030/A/AM/M will be made available this month while the GL930/A/AM/M, GL931/A/AM/M, GL2230/A/AM/M and GL2231/A/M/AM are slated for a worldwide release in July.
