Philips moves in with new range of LCDs, LEDs and ultra-slim TVs

The festive season is just around the corner and manufacturers have planned to put their best foot forward with several multimedia and entertainment products. Philips has just rolled out fifteen models of LEDs, eight variants of LCDs and five ultra-slim TVs in India. Crafted in a gamut of screen sizes, these display devices tout to satiate the needs of every consumer.

The LED family of 8 members comes in various sizes from 24” to 55” full HD screens. These models are embedded with Philip’s Natural Light 2 engine which improves picture quality and deepens the dark colors, all this with consuming lesser power. The digital noise reduction offers noise free images and enhances the picture clarity. In addition to USB 2.0 slots, the LED TVs flaunt their capability to be connected with five devices using HDMI sources such as camcorders, gaming consoles, laptops, digital cameras, home theater systems, and more.

The Philips LED TVs deliver cinematic sounds through the Digital Dynamic Audio system which utilizes the audio virtualization technology. Owners can enjoy a theater-like experience with their devices’ deep bass, clear treble and enriched sounds. The company’s LED technology enlightens the panel for true-to-life imagery using up to 40 percent less energy.

Moreover, Philips has constructed the LCDs in screen sizes from 24” to 46”, whereas the ultra-slim TVs feature 14” to 21” screen sizes. The LCD TVs incorporate Digital Dynamic Hi-Definition Engine technology which adopts a new chip. This chip adds crispness, sharpness and details as well as augments colors and contrast. The company is also expected to launch its flat panel TV range under the flagship model Cinema 21:9 3D LED Pro TV with ambilight.

The pricing for Philip’s LED TVs begins at Rs. 26,500, the LCD TVs at Rs. 16,499 and the ultra-slim TVs at Rs. 5,290.
