The new VEB620 is a thin, light and versatile device measuring less than 11mm thin and weighting less than 0.26kg, that can be held comfortably in the palm of one’s hand. Designed to be attractive, the gizmo comes equipped with ViewSonic’s sophisticated E-ink panel technology that has the authentic look and feel of traditional paper.
The integrated technology makes the screen of the device easy to read even in direct sunlight. To store users’ huge number of books, it sports 2GB of internal memory and the option of memory card expansion.
Additionally, the embedded Li-ion battery and advanced power saving attributes of E-ink ensure that the eBook supports 8,000 page turns, equivalent to reading more than 20 books. Reading enthusiasts can now leaf through their favorite literature or stories anywhere at any time.
The new VEB620 further lends support to multiple formats including ePub, PDF and MP3 audio while giving users access to over one million free public domain titles.
