HP introduces four new widescreen LCD monitors

Companies jumping onto the eco-friendly bandwagon are certainly not something consumers are likely to complain about. HP has come out with four new widescreen LCD monitors dubbed the HP Compaq LA22f, HP Compaq LE19f, HP ZR22w and HP ZR24w which boast of a number of green features.

Energy Star compliant HP Compaq LA22f has a 22” WLED backlit panel that renders 1680 x 1050p resolutions, a 16:10 widescreen aspect ratio and 2,00,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. The BFR/PVC-free monitor hosts a DisplayPort, HDCP compliant DVI inputs, VGA and in-built USB. The EPEAT Gold and TCO Certified Displays 5.0-ratified device offers 35° tilt adjustment, swivel, pivot rotation and more than 4.5” of height adjustability.

Energy Star 5.0, EPEAT Silver and TCO 5.0 rated HP Compaq LE19f has a 19” WLED widescreen LCD with backlit panel that delivers 1440 x 900p resolutions and a 16:10 aspect ratio. Producing 250 nits of brightness, the screen proffers a 5ms response time and 1000:1 contrast ratio. The BFR/PVC-free monitor possesses VGA and HDCP compliant DVI inputs.

HP ZR22w widescreen monitor has a 21.5” LCD with low-power panel. The Energy Star 5.0, TCO 5.0 and EPEAT Gold ratified device extends a 3000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 1920 x 1080p full HD resolutions, 16.7M color and full HD displayable. The ZR22 incorporates an 8-way comfort adjust stand for positioning the monitor optimally. Inputs hosts include HDCP qualified DisplayPort and DVI, VGA as also HP Quick Release and an embedded 4-USB hub.

The display’s S-IPS panel, with native sRGB-class performance, reproduces precise representation of colors used in creative and professional applications for improved on- screen color accuracy. 25% of its aluminum chassis is constructed out of post-recycled resin and may be classified as a Performance Series monitor.

HP ZR24w S-IPS Performance Series monitor with sRGB-class performance flaunts a 24” LCD that allows for 16.7M displayable shades, 16:10 widescreen aspect ratio, 1920 x 1200p resolutions and 3000:1 dynamic ratio. 25% of its brushed aluminum exterior is made out of post-consumer recycled resin. Apart from HP Quick Release and an incoportaed 4-port USB hub, other features comprise of HDCP qualified DisplayPort and DVI as also VGA inputs and an 8-way comfort adjust stand.
