Entertainment enthusiasts who like to spend their hours before a large screen television have just got a reason to crack that grin. Sharp Corporation has just slid the covers off four new models in the LV Series of 3D-compatible Aquos Quattron 3D LCD TVs. In addition, the company has shed some light on its four new image-quality models in the LX Series and two models in the XF Series of Aquos Quattron LCD TVs.

Sharp innovated with four-primary-color technology based on its proprietary UV A technology. This particular technology touts to add yellow to red, blue and green, and significantly leverages the ability to reproduce colors. In particular, it enables both 2D and 3D images to be generated with brilliant quality by vividly offering colors such as brilliant yellow, brassy gold, and emerald green.

Apart from this, a considerable enhancement in light utilization efficiency produced a reduction in power consumption by approximately 10 percent compared to previous models with UV A technology. The newly unveiled LV series ensures to put forth an ideal combination of vivid color image rendering, improved light utilization efficiency, phenomenal brightness, and unprecedented performance.

Proffering about 1.8 times greater brightness than three-primary-color LCD panels, the series ensures to deliver impressive 3D images. The mergence of Sharp’s proprietary high-speed Fred technology and Scanning LED Backlit technology that eliminates image lab enables 3D images to be produced with a remarkably realistic sense of depth.

The stylish Aquos Quattron LX Series also sports the ability to offer rich colors. On the other hand, the XF Series equips an edge-lit LED backlight system to deliver outstanding image quality in a stylish full-flat slim design.

Sharp’s these new models will be released around the world. The pricing details are yet to be announced.
