Wacom PL-900 LCD

Wacom has announced the availability of its latest pen-supported LCD screen, called the PL-900.

Offering a high-resolution 19-inch (1280 x 1024 pixels) screen, the display enables users to write, annotate and navigate directly with the included pressure-sensitive pen. The battery-free pen provides 512 pressure level, precise cursor navigation, smooth inclination from 18° to 73°, and freely programmable double side-switch.

The screen has an aspect ratio of 4:3 that even supports 16:10 when connected to a laptop or other hardware, thanks to the video scaler feature that is compatible with wide-format input.

Ensuring good hand-eye coordination, the interactive pen display is said to be an ideal gizmo for educational institutions and companies that require audio visual equipment. Users can easily conduct meetings, presentations and video conferencing with this innovative tool.

Apart from easy control and operation of complex user interfaces, the new member of PL family assures long period of usage and comfort while using due to the incorporation of the anti-glare treatment.

Compatible with Windows and Macintosh applications, the plug-and-play device features two USB ports, DVI-I input and DVI-I output connector for advanced video capabilities and supports both analogue and digital video sources.

Priced at £1,249.99 (approx. Rs. 83,900), the Wacom PL-900 pen-enabled LCD is immediately available for purchase with a two-year warranty.
