e-Readers are increasingly gaining popularity. The small size and large storage space are significant features of these devices. Yesterday, we reported about the iRex DR800SG e-Book Reader. Joining the league now, is the Story e-reader from iRiver. We earlier heard about this Reader at the beginning of this month. Well, the Story is now up for pre-order, reports Crunchgear.
The iRiver e-reader is said to incorporate a 6-inch E ink display along with a full QWERTY keypad that replaces the blank user interface. The Story is claimed to be compatible with various file formats like PDF, epub, txt, ppt, doc, xls and more. It doesn’t need to convert these formats to support them. The memory card slot of this Reader is capable of supporting up to 32GB cards.
The iRiver Story e-Reader was first glimpsed back in July. The full specifications of this device are yet to be disclosed. The Story is also said to include a comic reader and a battery that lasts up to 9000 page turns.
Apparently, the iRiver Story e-reader is now available for pre-order in Korea. The device is priced at $281 (approx. Rs. 13,503). We hope to see this e-reader come our way soon.
