The traditional photo frames have gone digital to keep up with the modern-age. And now Sony has taken these digital photo frames a step further with the introduction of the S-Frame DPP-F700. This new digital photo frame comes with an in-built printer.
The DPP-F700 is a sleek, all-in-one device that not only allows users to view images but prints them as well. The frame features a 7-inch LCD display that flaunts a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The incorporated printer is capable of printing 4†x 6†photographs with a resolution of 300 x 300 dpi in just 45 seconds. The frame also enables users to edit images before printing them.
The Creative Print mode enables users to create calendars, ID photos and layout prints. The Screen Capture function allows users to print an image just the way it is displayed in the slide show. The Sony F700 offers support for USB input as well as memory cards like Memory Stick PRO, Memory Stick PRO Duo, Secure Digital, SDHC, Multi-Media Card, Compact Flash, and xD-Picture Card media. The file formats supported include JPEG, TIFF, and BMP.
The Sony S-Frame DPP-F700 digital photo frame will hit the market in January. The frame will retail for around $200 (approx. Rs. 9,290) and will be available online via the company’s official website.
