JVC to Exhibit 7mm thin, 32″ LCD TV Prototype at CES

JVC has announced that it will showcase its new 32-inch 7mm Super-Thin LCD TV at CES.

Measuring 0.28-inch (7mm) and weighing 5kg, the prototype energy-efficient 32-inch LCD TV works on next-generation LCD technology that integrates a new optical system and modular LCD construction. It ensures greater flexibility in the design and layout, matching commercial and household environments.

The company’s thinnest and lightest LCD also claims to use around 50 percent less material resources and about 10% fewer LCD module parts as compared to the existing JVC displays. Furthermore, it also said to maintain optical, intensity and low-heat radiation performance.

The super thin LCD TV prototype offers energy-efficiency, high-resolution with high contrast and luminance uniformity as well as a wide color palette.
