JVC LT-42WX70 LCD TV

JVC has announced new 42-inch LT-42WX70 LCD TV system that includes a super slim monitor that features a wider color space.

The new 42-inch LT-42WX70 full HD LCD TV is aimed at the digital imaging professionals who use high-end digital SLR cameras. With an expanded color space capacity and coverage rate of 96 percent for Adobe, it accurately reproduces video as still photographs.

The slim, lightweight television adorns an elegant black leather-like texture on a slim bezel which helps reduce glare. Its flat rear panel comes minus screws or vents and poses a metallic silver finish. Furthermore, the monitor equips a detachable stereo speaker and consumes less power as it is ENERGY STAR 3.0 compliant.

With a groundbreaking design and stylish stand this elegant TV comes with a separate, sleek tuner (TU-CX100) that can be separated from the monitor and be placed vertically or horizontally. Well, the tuner is sold separately. The TU-CX100 HD digital/analog tuner box helps link the LT-42WX70 TV with an HDMI cable. It has been designed to dock below the monitor. Depending upon the positioning of the box, the touch sensor operation buttons rotate.

It also features 52 on-screen image-quality adjustment properties, Individual Gamma Adjust System. JVC’s GENESSA Picture Engine ensures accurate and natural colors. The 120HzClear Motion Drive III (100Hz for PAL video signals) in the engine minimizes blurring on LCD TV thus the movements are quite clearer and smoother. Adding to your convenience is the intuitive graphical on-screen display with remote.

The spec sheet also reveals three HDMI CEC terminals, D-Sub 15pin with component video, an audio input jack while the TV tuner comes with 15-pin/component/composite, audio and HDMI cables.

The JVC LT-42WX70 TV and TU-XB100 tuner box are expected to be available in April.
