Epson EB-825 Projector

Epson brings out yet another digital imaging and printing solution. This time around the company unveils the EB-825, a wireless multimedia capable projector. This projector has been designed in such a way that it delivers ease of use along with low cost of operation for both educational and business environments.

All new Epson EB-825 proves to be very convenient as it provides cable-free projection from wirelessly networked computers. It also makes possible the projection of JPG images stored in flash drives or PCs by simply using its USB port. This projector can be mounted with ease in rather inaccessible areas which are out of the way, such as high walls or under ceilings. Its settings can be remotely managed by using a PC or a notebook.

The Epson EB-825 provides its user with the convenience of changing or cleaning its air filter or lamp as it has handy access panels. With this projector there is no such need for connecting external speakers as it comes with 10-watt in-built speakers which can play sounds from presentations or videos.

Epson EB-825 uses the inventive Epson-Twin Optimized Reflection Lamp (E-TORL) as its light source. This lamp offers an extraordinary lifespan of 6000 hours and claims to be 20 percent more efficient than other conventional projector lamps. This projector is made keeping in mind the cost conscious businesses and educational institutes. Thus these institutes can enjoy considerable cost saving, through its lower energy costs and a longer life span. The innovative E-TORL lamp does not only allow cost saving but also permits the projector to have a smaller chassis design which makes it look much more attractive.

This latest Epson EB-825 enables much sharper and clearer projections as it features Epson’s 3LCD technology and has a resolution of 1024 x 768. It has a phenomenal brightness of 3000 lumens and a contrast ratio of 2000:1. This projector creates a surprising level of realism as it uses a 3-chip, solid state 3LCD optical engine which makes the whole experience of viewing bright and true to life.

Another stunning feature of this projector is its 1.6x zoom range that enables it to attain a large screen size with a shorter throw distance. This also cuts down the wasted space between the projector and the screen. Epson EB-825 comes with two innovative modes namely whiteboard and blackboard. These modes help images to adjust to the background they are being projected on, in order to ease the eyes viewing them.

This also makes it ideal for the educational market. Besides these modes, the projector holds six other color modes that optimize it for display of different content which are Dynamic, Presentation, Theater, sRGV, Sports and Photo. The Epson EB-825 projector is now available in the Indian markets and has been priced at Rs. 77,800.
