Mitsubishi introduces its new Laser technology based LaserVue LCD TV. The new LCD TVs hit the market in 65 and 73 inches. The Mitsubishi LaserVue 65 inch will be the first one to be launched.
The LaserVue LCDs provides 200 percent color gamut which is much more compared to the traditional HDTVs. These LCDs exhibit 500 nits of brightness and run at 120 Hz.Well, Mitsubishi has not yet revealed how this technology works. All we know is the zomg, lasers. They provide brighter pictures and better viewing angles as well.
LaseVue is a rear-projection type technology that is based on laser. These new Mitsubishi LaserVue LCD TVs offer deeper red and black colors. They are said to hit the market in Q3 2008, with the 65-inch being launched first.
