NEC NP Value Series of Projectors announced in the US

NEC announced the NP Value series of projectors in the US market. The new range includes two projectors namely NP100 and NP200. The latest projectors feature DLP technology with BrilliantColor enabling 1300:1 contrast ratio.

Also the projectors include up to 4,000 hours of lamp life, a built-in speaker and a monitor out.

While the NP100 is an SVGA resolution projector that rates brightness at 2,000 lumens, the While the NP200 features XGA resolution rating brightness of 2,100 lumens.

Some of the other features of the NP Value Series projectors are:

  • Aspect ratio control of 4:3, 16:9 and native
  • Digital keystone correction
  • Built-in two-watt speaker
  • VGA, S-Video, composite and audio inputs
  • Component video display using 15-pin adapter
  • Freeze, digital zoom, A/V mute and direct source changes via remote control
  • 90-day/500-hour lamp warranty
  • RS232 for service

    Moreover, both the projectors are ideal for small-to-medium-sized rooms and can be oriented to front, rear, tabletop or ceiling-mounted positions.

    The NP100 and NP200 will be available in the US market from April 2008 at the prices of $499 (around Rs. 20,010) and $649 (around Rs. 26,030) respectively.
