ViewSonic has announced the availability of a wide range of digital photo frames in the American market to celebrate Mother’s Day. These frames come in various interchangeable bezels such as wood, black and silver, and black and white to match the home décor.
Sizes ranging between 7-, 8- and 10-inches, they are equipped with menu system, 256MB of internal memory, integrated battery and support for USB connectivity, allowing photo transfers directly from a thumb drive or with the camera’s memory card to the frame.

The 10-inch DPX1002 wide screen digital photo frame bundles 1024×600 resolution, 400 cd/m2 adjustable brightness and 400:1 contrast ratio and is compatible with JPEG and BMP for photos, Motion JPEG, MPEG1 and MPEG4 for video; and MP3 for music. It also includes calendar, alarm clock, multi-language option and remote control.
The 4:3 traditional digital photo frames, which comprises of DPX802WD, DPX802WD-BW and DPX802BSL-BW, sport an 8-inches widescreen with a high 800X600 resolution, 250 brightness and 500:1 contrast ratio (typ) along with built-in speakers, and audio files complaint. The new DPX802WD, DPX802WD-BW and DPX802BSL-BW boast various photo transition options.
The frames that come in 7-inches screen size are DPX702BSL-BW, DPX702WD-BW and DPX702WD. These models carry an 800×480 resolution, 220 cd/m2 adjustable brightness and a 400:1 contrast ratio (typ) as well as support for JPEG or BMP files, and multiple slideshow options such as speed, effect, language and rotation adjustments.
In addition, 7-inches widescreen DPX704WH, 8-inch 4:3 DPX804WH and 10-inches widescreen DPX1004WH are enclosed in a sleek white finish and slated to feature an internal memory of 128MB, multiple video, audio and photo formats; and an alarm, clock and calendar functions.
With prices starting from $139 (approx. Rs. 5,560), all the ViewSonic digital photo frames have hit the US market.
