Sony Ericsson Debuts IDP-100 Digital Photo Frame

Sony Ericsson IDP-100 Sony Ericsson announces its latest IDP-100 digital photo frame.

The stylish photo frame sports Bluetooth connectivity and USB flash memory for transferring images. It also supports a range of expandable memory card such as M2 card, micro SD, SD or MS Duo for transferring and has an onboard memory of 128 MB.

Available in a sleek dark grey finish, the 7-inch IDP-100 has an automatic rotation functionality to watch digital pictures either in a landscape format or in a portrait viewing angle. It provides an aspect ratio of 4:3 or 6:9, 200cd/m2 brightness, a WVGA resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and 400:1 contrast ratio. It also features an active touch control which allows users to manage and organize photos.

It also features Digital Image Correction (DIC), which automatically adjusts the images in the terms of color correction, tone enhancement and even edge enhancement, making it a perfect photo for display.

The IDP-100 photo frame has dimensions of 205x145x25 (WxHxD) and weighs just 320g.

Sony Ericsson IDP-100 digital photo frame is expected to be made available in selected markets in Q4. However, there is no word on pricing.
