Canon reveals new REALiS WUX10 and SX80 Projectors

Canon has said to have launched two new projectors called REALiS WUX10 and SX80. Let’s look at them one by one.

The REALiS WUX10 Multimedia Projector delivers high-resolution and wide screen at an affordable price. It offers WUXGA-resolution (1920 x 1200) images and supports 1080 video content. The widescreen allows users to project the entire screen in its true proportions just as it appears on the desktops and laptops.

It also features contrast ratio of 1000:1, 3200 Lumens, projects full and precise display of photographs, intricate spreadsheets with small text, processes analog RGB and component signals and 10-bit resolution for higher-quality images.

Canon’s new REALiS SX80 Multimedia Projector dawns the new generation SXGA+ resolution display. Some of its features are 3000 Lumens of brightness, contrast ratio of 900:1, compatibility with WXGA and SXGA, the screen size can be changed according to the venue, “PC-Free” presentations with USB/PictBridge connectivity, USB port that can connect digital camera or digital camcorder directly and display jpeg photos. It includes a “folding” ceiling attachment and replacement of the projection lamp or filters.

Canon REALiS WUX10 is priced at $12,999 and will be available in October while the SX80 is said to be available this month at $3,999. The Canon REALiS WUX10 and the REALiS SX80 come with a three-year parts and labor/120-day lamp limited warranty.
