Iiyama intros ProLite Touchscreen LCD Monitors

Iiiyama ProLite T1530SR Iiyama has unveiled a range of new touchscreen LCD monitors, namely the ProLite T1530SR, the T1730SR, and the T1930SR. Basically, this is the new lineup of touch sensitive monitors for desktop computers.

You can either connect through VGA or DVI, or support USB and RS-232 for the touchscreen interface. These screens utilize 4:3 aspect ratio, 800:1 contrast ratio and come with 15in, 17in and 19in touchscreen panels. All the monitors are based on the latest 5 Wire Resistive technology and some swanky new styling.

All the touchscreen monitors give a resolution of 1024 x 768 (15in) and 1280 x 1024 (17in and 19in). In terms of connectivity, display inputs include both analogue and digital (DVI) options with touchscreen connectivity via either USB or RS-232 which adds a good deal of flexibility. The trio can also be rotated 90 degrees to work in portrait mode.

According to the company, “Five wire resistive technology has proven to be the most popular because it delivers the accuracy, durability, and performance necessary in today’s environment. It is a popular choice as it can be operated while wearing gloves, essential for medical or industrial professions amongst other industries.”

Compatible with Mac and PCs, the three-strong touchscreen monitors come at a suggested price of £329 each for ProLite T1530SR, ProLite T1730SR and ProLite 1930SR.
