Wacom DTF-521 Pen Based Display Unveiled

Wacom, which is famous for its graphics tablets, has unveiled yet one more pen-based display device, the DTF-521 (which is also known as PL-521 in Europe). It is a little bit similar to their Cintiq line of tablet displays, but that resemblance diminishes when you look at the price tag.

The DTF-521 has a display area of 12” x 9” (108 square inches) with an XGA resolution of 1024×768 pixels. The display can be effortlessly adjusted between 17 degrees and 73 degrees. This makes the pen-based display more easy to use. Data can easily transferred as it has two USB ports. In addition, the display is able to sense 512 different levels of pressure when the pen is being used.
