Viewsonic has come out with a new widescreen LCD monitor in Taiwan. The VX1932wm is already available in China and has a 2 ms response time.
VX1932wm is European Union’s Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) and Energy Star compliant. It gives the user a maximum resolution of 1,440×900 and a contrast ratio of 700:1. The VX1932wm LCD monitor has a brightness of 300 nits and a viewing angle of 160/160 degrees. The mode of the monitor is ‘Microsoft Windows Vista’ premium logo certified and includes High Bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP).
Features wise, the Viewsonic VX1932wm is similar to the VX922 that was introduced in 2005. However, this one is a little pricey. It will cost US$239 (approx. Rs. 9600) and will be available in Taiwan from mid-May 2007.
