Epson has announced its PowerLite front projector line, called the PowerLite Pro Cinema 1080 UB at the CEDIA electronics show.
The features of the latest projector include a new D7 image chipset with C2Fine 3LCD technology, polarizing filter, high contrast of 50,000:1, and a 12-bit color substrate.
Powerlite also comes equipped with dual HDMI 1.3 ports with deep color support and a 1,600-lumen brightness that can be useful in less than ideal movie viewing conditions.
You can also shift the company’s lens system between 96 degrees vertically and 47 degrees horizontally. It further has the ability to adapt any one of the 14 different lenses, which can preserve a zoom ratio for a picture as high as 1:2.1.
Expected to be released this December, the price of the Epson PowerLite Pro Cinema 1080 UB Projector is still not clear.
