Going one step ahead in voice calls technology, Samsung Electronics has launched VoIP capable displays. The Syncmaster 220TN and 225UW monitors video conferencing and voice calls by allowing users to go online without connecting to a PC.
The monitor comes with an embedded 500MHz Geode LX800 processor, 1GB flash memory; 256MB RAM an Ethernet slot and Windows XP.
Both monitors are 22-inch and further sport a 1680×1050 resolution, 5ms response time, 2.0 mega pixel camera, microphone, and speaker.
The Syncmaster 220TN and 225UW monitors also feature USB hub functions with 4 and 2 USB respectively. Also they feature high gloss finish design and touch buttons
“These monitors with VoIP functions unveiled at this IFA exhibition will become a must-have item for individual users and enterprises in the global era,†said Yun Ho Ha, Senior Vice President of Samsung’s Visual Display Division.
These VoIP capable displays are a very good option for companies with several branches, thus having the need of conducting frequent conference calls with branches. It’s apt for parents who have children studying abroad.
