Samsung Electronics has expanded its SyncMaster series of LCD displays with three new displays in the American market. The SyncMaster 920BM 19-inch monitor, the SyncMaster 920WM and the 2220WM monitors enhance the multimedia experience.
All the three monitors feature built-in speakers that allow users to eliminate external speakers attached to the computer. Thus they are ideal for users looking for a compact solution.
Moreover, Samsung’s MagicBright2 and MagicSpeed technologies adjust brightness, contrast and gamma correction automatically depending on the specific application.
The 920WM and the 2220WM monitors feature a 16:10 wide-screen format resulting in improved work efficiency, by supporting the multiple application windows simultaneously.
The 920BM monitor features a resolution of 1280 x 1024 and a contrast ratio of 1000:1, while the 920WM model is equipped with 1440 x 900 resolution and contrast ratio of 700:1. The 2220WM offers an ultra-high resolution of 1680 x 1050 and a contrast ratio of 1000:1.
“By combining built-in speakers with exceptional image quality and a fast response time, this series of displays is an excellent choice for any personal and professional user who seeks a superior multimedia experience and advanced motion graphics,” said Young Bae, senior display product manager, display products, Samsung Electronics America, Inc.
“Samsung is proud to include these high-performance monitors in its award-winning line of SyncMaster displays,” added Bae.
