We always think that when it comes to 3D pictures, we need to wear glasses. Philips has broken that perception and introduced its latest display.
Philips has presented its latest innovative WOWzone Wall, a screen that diagonally measures 132-inches and also has the ability to show 3D pictures without wearing the glasses.
The display size is 132-inches, but the widescreen has not been placed at a stretch. Philips has merged nine 42-inch displays on a 3×3 grid to produce a total of 132-inch display.
Philips has made use of WOWvx 3-D technology that actually tricks the viewer’s eyes and brain to think that they are seeing depth within the room-sized frame. In addition, it utilizes a special lenticular lens apparatus mounted on top of nine displays and a digital signal processing software and hardware, which is placed behind the screen.
