Sony XEL-1 OLED TV Introduced

Sony XEL-1 OLED TV Sony has unveiled its very first commercial OLED TV in the Japanese market. The latest OLED Television is named the XEL-1.

With an 11-inch display, the XEL-1 screen is just 3mm thin and features dramatic 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio and low 45W power consumption.

Furthermore, the XEL-1 offers a resolution of 960px ×540px, and takes input resolution up to 1080p. It also sports an integrated digital TV tuner for Japan, USB, LAN interface, 1x HDMI port, headphone plug and S-Force sound.

Measuring 287×253×140mm and weighing 2kg, the Sony XEL-1 also comes with 2 x 1W speakers and supports DLNA to receive contents from other compatible devices.

Sony XEL-1 OLED TV will be available from 1st December this year with the suggested retail cost of 200.000Â¥. Fairly costly product for the middle class! If converted in Indian currency, consumer needs to cash out approx. Rs. 69,600 for an 11-inch TV.
