The Samsung 27-inch Series 9 LED monitor has landed in the US with exclusive Natural Color Expert technology. The Series 9 monitors had made their debut a while ago at the CES 2012.
The 27†LED desktop monitor is bundled in with a professional-grade PLS panel clubbed with Mobile HD Link and quad HD resolution. This enables users to plug in gadgets like a smartphone or a tablet and view content stored in them. Furthermore, the company’s engineers have individually hand calibrated each Series 9 monitor.

The manufacturers have loaded the device with a couple of ‘magical’ features like MagicAngle, MagicBright3 and MagicColor clubbed together with attributes like Eco Saving, embedded speakers and Multi Screen, amongst others. The core ingredients include a 16:9 aspect ratio together with 285cd/m2 brightness and a 1000:1 static contrast ratio along with a 5ms response time.
The Samsung 27-inch Series 9 LED monitor price begins at $1,199.99 (approx. Rs. 68,620). Between June 1 and June 28, it will be up for grabs via an exclusive pre-launch with NewEgg, followed by MicroCenter, Tiger Direct, Buy.com, CDW and others starting from June 29.
