HP carves out new HP Pavilion consumer desktop PCs

HP HPE H8 Series PCs Desktops have reinforced the computing segment by coalescing portable capabilities with powerful functionalities and specifications. Leveraging its product portfolio, HP recently announced its new lineup of HP Pavilion consumer desktop PCs.

The polished, black front panel layered over a metallic base offers depth and dimension to the new towers, while sliding front panels hide ports and drives for an uncluttered look. Few models provide a valet tray incorporated into the top of the PC and come equipped with USB ports for seamless connectivity.

“Consumers demand the best of both worlds from their desktop PCs performance and expandability with a design that fits them and their environment,” commented Randall Martin, chief design strategist, Desktop PCs, Personal Systems Group, HP. “HP’s new Pavilion PCs offer intuitive features and enhanced aesthetics, bridging the gap that sometimes exists between form and function.”

Fitted with optimized processors and graphics, the desktop PCs boast of an extensive range of interesting features. Besides, technologies such as Beats Audio and HP LinkUp can be enjoyed on select models. The HP Pavilion p7 series PCs come along with enhanced hard drive storage space, superior graphics and integrated support for multichannel surround sound.

The HP Pavilion Slimline s5 series PCs promise to lower space consumption. The HP Pavilion HPE h8 series PCs are highly efficient and leverage the user experience. Select devices come equipped with around three internal hard drives, AMD Phenom or Intel Core i7 processors and high-end Nvidia or ATI graphics. In addition, these PCs lend support to multiple displays.

The next device rolled out from HP’s kitty is the x2301 23-inch Micro Thin LED backlit monitor which is carved out with sleek elements. It flaunts a translucent aquamarine base and brush anodized aluminum accents. The x2301 sports high-dynamic contrast ratio, full high-definition resolution, glare-reducing BrightView technology and fast response time. It is touted to be Energy Star 5.0 qualified and EPEAT Silver registered, featuring mercury-free LED backlights and arsenic-free display glass.

The HP HPE h8 series PCs and HP Pavilion p7 series PCs will be up for grabs on HP Home & Home Office beginning May 18 and at select U.S. retailers on June 19 for a starting price of $599.99 (approx Rs. 27,065) and $299.99 (approx Rs. 13,532), respectively. The HP Pavilion Slimline s5 series PCs are anticipated to be available via HP Home & Home Office on June 15 for a starting price of $329.99 (approx Rs. 14,885) and at select U.S. retailers on June 19. The HP x2301 consumer monitor will hit shelves in the U.S. for a starting price of $279.99 (approx Rs. 12,63).
