HP has augmented its 3D portfolio with the addition of the HP TouchSmart 620 3D Edition PC which is accompanied by the company’s Photo Engine solution, Wireless TV Connect and the 2311gt 3D monitor. This latest TouchSmart PC has been introduced with a view to offer 3D entertainment to users in their living rooms.
The high performance PC claims to deliver a swift performance for everyday tasks concerned with 2D content and other applications. Besides displaying 3D pictures, the system also allows users to capture 3-dimensional images with the built-in webcam. The TriDef 3D game player integrated within the PC allows users to enjoy 3D games on the intuitive 23-inch high definition multi-touch display.
The ergonomic HP TouchSmart 620 3D Edition PC is comfortable to use as its angle can be adjusted up to 180 degrees. The adjustable element not only adds to the comfort factor, but reduces glaring effect while watching 3D content using the stereoscopic 3D glasses packaged along with the unit. The system is equipped with premium graphics and processors and pre-loaded with HP TouchSmart software. Also included is LinkUp and Beats Audio for improved multimedia functionalities.

The HP Photo Engine image software is powered by HP Z800 Workstation and helps reduce strain on the eye while displaying realistic 3D images from all angles. It is also projects documents, web and 2D content with equal precision. Furthermore, the HP Wireless TV Connect efficiently streams 2D or 3D content on a television from the system.
The HP TouchSmart 620 3D Edition PC, expected to be available from November 15, 2011 is priced at $1,599.99 (approx. Rs. 79,665) after $300 instant rebate. The HP Photon Engine solution is currently available in the U.S, while the HP Wireless TV Connect will hit store shelves next month for a price of $179.99 (approx. Rs. 8,965).
