Dell Alienware desktops accompanied by Bigfoot Killer gaming network cards

The Dell Alienware series of gaming desktops has been creating quite a stir among gamers since its inception. Now Bigfoot Networks has revealed plans to offer its Killer 2100 range of gaming network cards with the Dell Alienware Aurora, Aurora ALX, Area-51 and Area-51 ALX desktops.

The Killer 2100 cards are built to enhance networking speed, intelligence and control. This is cited to translate into quicker response times and improved in-game performance for online gamers. The recently convened QuakeCon 2010 had Quake Live players from all over the globe getting a taste of Killer 2100 performance via Alienware PCs.

The Area-51 and Area-51 ALX desktops can be purchased with the 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional or Ultimate OS. While the Area-51 runs on the Intel Core i7 processor, the Area-51 ALX is powered by the Intel Core i7 975 Extreme processor that comes overclocked by the manufacturers. Both these devices integrate Intel Turbo Boost and hyper-threading technologies.

The Aurora and the Aurora ALX also support 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional or Ultimate OS. The gadgets run on the Intel Core i7 processors and are compatible with 2010 Intel Core i7 975 Extreme Edition Quad Core processors as well. The former flaunts a sleek industrial design with a choice of cosmic black or lunar shadow shaded chassis; whereas the latter comes in a black shade with lighting effects in eight different zones.
