Dell Zino glimpsed in the wild

Dell Logo The Internet is abuzz with news about Dell’s upcoming nettop PC. Dubbed Dell Zino HD, this new nettop PC is said to compete with the Mac Mini when it arrives in the market, reports Ubergizmo. It is also speculated that the Zino may be sold under the Inspiron lineup.

The Zino will come embedded with an optical disk drive. The nettop will also support an HDMI port that will allow users to connect it to an HDTV. Reportedly, the Dell Zino may be renamed as the Inspiron 400. The nettop will be powered by either AMD Athlon or Athlon X2 processor. The company may also throw in an optional Blu-ray drive.

The Zino boasts of an 8GB RAM that is said to perfectly complement the processor. The connectivity options of the device include Ethernet, eSATA and Wi-Fi. The graphics will be provided by ATI Mobility’s Radeon 4330 graphics card. It is also believed that the Dell Zino may be rebranded as the Inspiron 400 or the Inspiron 300 depending on the specifications.

There is no official word on the pricing and availability of the Dell Zino HD nettop PC as yet. But we are definitely looking forward to the launch of this nettop. Let’s just hope that Dell won’t keep us waiting too long.
