Fujitsu Siemens Esprimo 7935 PC Fujitsu Siemens seems to be all geared up to foray in the ‘Go Green’ terrain. According to Engadget, Fujitsu Siemens is apparently planning to launch its zero-watt green PC, named Esprimo 7935. It is believed that the company disclosed the details of the new environment-friendly enterprise desktop computer at the CeBit trade fair in Hanover, Germany.

The main highlight of the rumored computing device is zero-watt power consumption when switched off. It is presumed to come bundled with a system that assures zero power usage without pulling the plug.

In the words of grapevine, the Esprimo 7395 PC has the ability to keep running for a predefined time slot when updates take place. Other details suggest that the PC shifts into the zero-watt mode once the time slot is crossed. Further, it stays steady in this mode till it is switched on by the user.

The gossip also states that the green PC gets turned off even in the standby mode, whereas the conventional PCs consume up to 5 watts of power.

Other known features of the Fujitsu Siemens green PC series are 89% efficient power supply and the US Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Energy Star 5.0 standard certification. Boasting to offer efficient power supply, it makes sure there is less wastage of electricity through heat along with motherboards that don’t include lead or halogen.

The innovative Esprimo 7935 green PC from Fujitsu Siemens would roll out by mid-2009 for a price range of €600 to €700 (approx. Rs. 39,135 to Rs. 45,655).
